Delete a Single Text Message auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running Coloros, the Messages app treats a single message and an entire conversation as separate delete targets. Tapping and holding a text opens a selection menu, but the same gesture also lets you add more messages to the selection before confirming, which can lead to deleting more than you intended.
The delete function belongs to the Messages app itself, not a system-wide media manager, so removed texts do not move to a recycle bin and cannot be restored afterward. Before confirming, check that only the message you actually want to remove is highlighted.
To delete a single message: Tap on Messages ➔ Choose a Conversation ➔ Tap and hold a Message ➔ Tap on Delete ➔ Tap on Delete to confirm.
If you need to remove several messages from the same conversation, tap the additional messages after the pop-up appears, then confirm once at the end. This works more reliably than repeating the single-message steps, since Coloros keeps the selection active across multiple messages.
If your goal is to remove the whole conversation instead of picking out individual texts, use the options in the conversation list rather than opening the chat itself. That method skips message-by-message selection and deletes the thread in one step.
