Delete Photos or Videos auf Oppo
Low storage warnings on an Oppo phone usually trace back to photos and videos that were never cleared out of the Gallery app. Deleting media there is straightforward, but ColorOS does not remove files immediately - it moves them to a Trash folder first.
Deleting one or several files at once
Open the Gallery and follow this path: Tap on Photos ➔ Tap and hold a Photo/Video ➔ If desired, select other Photos/Videos ➔ Tap on Delete ➔ Tap on Delete items. Holding a photo activates the selection mode, so you can tap additional items before confirming, which is faster than deleting files individually.
Why storage is not freed instantly
Deleted photos and videos land in the Trash and stay there for 30 days before ColorOS removes them automatically. Until that happens, the files still take up space, so a low-storage problem is not solved the moment you tap Delete.
If you need space back right away, emptying the Trash manually is the better fix instead of waiting out the 30 days. Keep in mind that once a file is gone from the Trash, it cannot be restored through the Gallery app anymore.
