Set Up Device Pairing for Messages for Web auf Oppo
Google Messages on Oppo phones can mirror your conversations on a browser through a feature once branded Messages for Web. The current name is Device Pairing, but it does the same job: it links your phone to a PC or laptop so you can type replies on a full keyboard.
The pairing relies on a QR code. Your phone camera reads a code shown on the messages.google.com page and creates a secure connection between the two devices. If that link is missing or was removed, the web page stays empty and no messages sync.
To set it up, go to Tap on Messages ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Device Pairing ➔ Tap on QR code scanner and follow the instructions on screen. Point your phone at the code on the browser screen and the pairing finishes automatically.
Use this method when you regularly work at a desk and want to avoid switching between your phone and keyboard. If you only need to check messages occasionally, opening the app directly on your phone is faster and avoids keeping a browser tab paired.
Pairing stays active until you sign out, clear browser data, or unpair the device manually from the same menu. If a shared or public computer was ever paired, remove it from that list to keep your messages private.
