Turn On/Off Emergency SOS auf Oppo
Emergency SOS on Oppo phones runs through the power button. Pressing it five times in a row pulls up your saved emergency contacts, even while the screen is locked, and lets you call one of them with a single tap.
Whether this shortcut is available depends on a single toggle called Emergency call quick access. If it is switched off, five quick presses of the power button do nothing. If it is switched on but you did not mean to enable it, an accidental five-press sequence in your pocket can suddenly place a call to someone in your contact list.
To check or change the setting, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on Emergency SOS ➔ Tap on Emergency call ➔ Enable or disable Emergency call quick access.
Turning the toggle off does not delete the emergency contacts you already stored. It only removes the power-button shortcut, so those contacts stay reachable through the regular Phone app.
If your phone still dials someone by accident after disabling the toggle, check whether a case or bag is pressing the power button repeatedly, since that can mimic the five-press pattern before the setting change takes effect.
