Set a Monthly Mobile Data Limit auf Oppo
Mobile data on Oppo phones normally stays active no matter how much you use, which is why overage charges happen so easily. The Mobile data limit function inside ColorOS solves this by cutting mobile data automatically once you reach a number you define.
Where the limit is managed
The setting sits inside the mobile data section, not in a separate data-saving app. This is why many users never find it, even though it has been part of ColorOS since version 7 (Android 10).
To set it up:
Settings ➔ SIM card & mobile data ➔ Data usage ➔ Mobile data limit ➔ Enable Set monthly data limit ➔ Data limit ➔ enter your value and tap Save.
What happens at the limit
Once your usage reaches the number you saved, mobile data switches off automatically until the next billing cycle or until you raise the limit manually.
This is different from a usage warning, which only notifies you but keeps data running. If you only want a heads-up without losing connectivity, check the warning threshold instead of relying on the hard limit.
Keep in mind that the counter resets based on the cycle date you configure, so it should match your actual contract billing date to stay accurate.
