Turn Smart Sidebar On or Off auf Oppo
The Smart Sidebar on Oppo phones sits along the right edge of the screen and opens with a swipe from the edge inward. It holds app shortcuts, quick tools such as screenshot capture, and quick apps that run in a floating window. If the sidebar does not open at all, or if it pops up unintentionally while gaming or reading, the toggle for it is usually the cause.
ColorOS keeps the Smart Sidebar setting separate from general navigation gestures, so switching gesture navigation elsewhere on the phone will not affect it. To turn the Smart Sidebar on or off, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Convenience tools ➔ Tap on Smart Sidebar ➔ Enable or disable Smart Sidebar.
Turning the sidebar off helps in full-screen games where an accidental swipe from the edge interrupts play. Turning it back on restores quick access to shortcuts without opening the app drawer each time.
If the toggle is on but the sidebar still fails to appear, check whether the current app blocks edge gestures on its own, as some games lock the screen edges independently. In that case the app setting overrides the system toggle and needs to be changed inside that app.
