Add Another Fingerprint auf Oppo
ColorOS treats every stored fingerprint as an independent unlock key. If only one print is saved, a wet, cold or injured finger blocks Face unlock fallback paths, app locking and Oppo Pay authorization at once.
Adding more prints spreads that risk across several fingers, and ColorOS lets you register scans from a second person as well. That is useful for shared devices, elderly family members with less consistent skin contact, or simply a backup thumb for one-handed use.
Where to add a fingerprint
Open Settings ➔ Password & biometrics ➔ Fingerprint ➔ Add a fingerprint. Confirm your existing PIN or pattern first, then place the new finger on the sensor and follow the on-screen prompts until the scan completes.
Lift and reposition the finger slightly between taps so ColorOS captures the edges, not only the center of the print. A print that only covers the middle of the fingertip tends to fail later when you touch the sensor at an angle.
If the sensor repeatedly rejects a new scan, clean the glass and dry the finger first. Screen protectors with air bubbles over the sensor area cause the same symptom and are worth removing before repeating the setup.
