Force Stop an App auf Oppo
An app that no longer reacts to taps is often still running in the background even after you swipe it away in the recent-apps view. Force stop ends the process directly, the same way Stop task shuts down a hung program on a Windows PC.
On ColorOS this option lives inside app management, separate from the quick swipe gestures in the app switcher. Because the process is terminated without saving its state, any unsaved form entries or an active login session get discarded.
To force stop an app, follow this path: Settings ➔ App management ➔ App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Force stop ➔ Force stop to confirm.
Use this option only when an app is genuinely frozen. If an app just runs slowly or drains battery quietly in the background, clearing its cache or reviewing battery optimization settings is usually the better fix, since repeated force stopping can interfere with notifications and background sync.
After confirming, reopen the app. It restarts from a clean state, so expect a short loading delay and, for many apps, a fresh sign-in prompt.
