Forward a Message on Oppo auf Oppo
Forwarding a message on an Oppo phone works from inside the Messages app, without copying or retyping any text. This is useful when you need to pass on an appointment, a code, or a link that arrived in one conversation to a different contact or chat.
The function sits behind a long-press gesture rather than a visible button, which is why many users overlook it. Open Tap on Messages ➔ Choose a Conversation, then Tap and hold a Message until a selection menu appears. From there, Open the Menu and Tap on Forward.
At this point you choose the destination: pick Choose a Conversation to send it to an existing chat, or tap New message to start a fresh conversation with a contact who has not messaged you before. The same forward option also lets you route the message into another installed app, so it is not limited to SMS-to-SMS transfers.
If the long-press menu does not show a Forward entry, the conversation might contain only media without selectable text, or the Messages app needs an update. Group messages and multimedia messages can behave slightly differently, since some carriers restrict forwarding of certain MMS content.
