Turn Google Play Protect On or Off auf Oppo
Google Play Protect runs quietly on every Oppo phone in the background, scanning installed apps and anything you download for suspicious behavior. When it flags an app, you get either a warning notification or the install gets blocked outright, even if the app comes from a source you trust.
This shows up most often with apps installed outside the Play Store, or apps that use permissions Play Protect treats as risky, like accessibility services or SMS access. If you sideload apps regularly for testing or work, the constant scanning and warnings can slow you down.
Disabling the scan gives you back control over installs, but it also removes an active layer of malware detection, so only switch it off if you know exactly what you are installing. You can toggle the scanner directly from the security settings.
To find the switch, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on Google Play Protect ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Enable or disable Scan apps with Play Protect.
If warnings still appear after disabling the scan, check whether another app or security profile is re-enabling it automatically.
