Hide Photos and Videos in the Gallery auf Oppo
ColorOS does not offer a way to hide whole albums in the Gallery app. What it offers instead is a private mode for individual photos and videos, which removes them from normal browsing without deleting anything.
To mark items as private, open the Gallery and tap on Photos. Tap and hold a photo or video until it gets selected, then, if needed, tap on additional items you want hidden. Finally tap on Set as private.
Once a photo or video is set as private, it disappears from the main gallery grid and from any album it was part of. It only reappears in a hidden area that you reach by pressing and holding the tabs bar at the bottom of the Gallery app.
Opening that area asks for your lock screen or privacy password, or for fingerprint or face recognition, depending on what you have set up on the device. This keeps the content away from anyone who just swipes through your gallery.
If you only want to keep something out of a shared album without fully hiding it from yourself, moving the file to a different album might work better than using private mode, since private items are harder to find quickly.
