Change Keyboard Location auf Oppo
On many Oppo phones running Coloros, the keyboard is anchored directly to the bottom edge of the screen. On larger displays this can push the top row of keys out of comfortable thumb reach, especially when typing one-handed.
Coloros solves this with a dedicated Keyboard location setting. It adds a blank strip below the keyboard, effectively lifting the keys closer to the middle of the screen. The change applies system-wide, so it affects the keyboard in messaging apps, browsers, and anywhere else you type.
How to raise the keyboard
Open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Keyboard & input method ➔ Keyboard location. Choose Raised to add the blank space, or switch back to Default to remove it.
This setting only changes the vertical position of the keyboard. It does not resize the keys or change the layout, so switching it on will not fix issues with key spacing or autocorrect.
If one-handed typing is still uncomfortable after raising the keyboard, check whether your phone also has a separate one-handed mode, since that adjusts screen scale rather than keyboard height.
