Change Keyboard Height auf Oppo
Oppo phones ship with Gboard sized for an average hand, but that default often clashes with larger displays or smaller fingers. When keys sit too high or too low, mistyped letters and accidental space-bar hits become common.
The height setting lives inside the input method preferences, separate from the general display settings. Coloros keeps the option inside Gboard itself rather than the system keyboard menu, so many people miss it entirely.
To change it, open Settings ➤ Additional settings ➤ Keyboard & input method ➤ Gboard ➤ Preferences ➤ Keyboard height. Choose from seven presets: Very Low, Small, Rather Small, Normal, Rather Large, Large, and Very High.
Very Low frees up screen space for reading apps, while Very High suits typing with both thumbs on larger phones. The change applies system-wide immediately, no restart needed.
If Gboard still feels off after resizing, check whether another keyboard app has taken over as the default input method. Only the active keyboard's settings apply, so switching keyboards resets this preference.
