Turn Lens Stain Detection On or Off auf Oppo
Lens stain detection is a background check that Oppo's camera app runs on Android with ColorOS. It compares brightness and contrast patterns near the edges of the frame to spot smudges, dust, or condensation on the lens.
When it flags an issue, a banner appears in the camera viewfinder before you even take the shot, sometimes while the lens is actually clean. This happens more often in low light, with wet fingers, or when a case or lens protector partially covers the sensor ring.
You can turn the feature on or off from the camera settings. Open Camera, tap on Settings, then go to Advanced settings and use the toggle to enable or disable Lens stain detection.
Turning it off stops the warning banner completely, which helps if you shoot through a case, filter, or macro lens attachment that keeps triggering false positives. Turning it back on is useful if you regularly carry the phone in a bag or pocket where dust actually settles on the lens.
If photos look hazy or show odd flare even with the detection disabled, clean the lens by hand first. The setting only controls the warning, not the actual dirt on the glass.
