Merge Duplicate Contacts auf Oppo
Duplicate contacts on Oppo phones almost always trace back to a sync conflict. Google Contacts, your SIM card, and a restored backup can each hold a slightly different version of the same person, and ColorOS imports all of them as separate entries instead of recognizing they belong together.
The fix lives inside the native Contacts app, not in the sync settings. ColorOS lets you select two entries manually and combine their numbers, emails, and other fields into one record, which keeps every stored detail instead of forcing you to delete one copy and lose its data.
To merge two entries, open Tap on Contacts ➔ Tap and hold a Contact ➔ Select the Duplicated contact ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Merge. Both contacts combine into a single entry that keeps all phone numbers, emails, and notes from each.
This manual merge is the right approach when you can clearly see two entries for the same person. If your entire contact list is cluttered with dozens of near-duplicates from a bulk import, checking your account sync settings first will save more time than merging one pair at a time.
Merging is permanent once confirmed, so double-check that both entries actually belong to the same person, especially if two family members share a similar name.
