Disable Mirror Effect for Front Camera Selfies auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running Coloros, the front camera saves selfies exactly as they appear in the live preview by default.
That preview is mirrored, so any text, logos, or asymmetric features in the shot come out flipped in the saved photo.
The Flip Selfie option in the camera settings controls whether this mirroring carries over into the final file.
To turn it on or off, go to Tap on Camera ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Advanced settings ➔ Enable or disable Flip selfie.
When Flip Selfie is enabled, the saved photo matches the live preview, meaning it stays mirrored.
When it is disabled, the camera flips the image back before saving, so the result matches how other people actually see you.
This setting only affects the front camera and applies to photos, video, and other media captured with it.
If you use the front camera mainly for video calls or scanning documents with visible text, keeping Flip Selfie off usually gives more accurate results.
For selfies focused on framing and symmetry rather than exact text, some people prefer keeping the mirrored version instead.
