Oppo: Turn MMS Delivery Reports On or Off

If you want confirmation that an MMS actually reached the other person, Coloros has a delivery report option hidden inside the Messages app settings. Many users assume this tells them when the message was read, but it only confirms that the MMS arrived on the recipient's device. On dual-SIM phones the setting also needs to be checked separately for each SIM.

Enable or Disable MMS Delivery Reports auf Oppo

Coloros lets you request a delivery report for MMS messages, similar to the read confirmation feature for SMS. Once enabled, the Messages app notifies you when an MMS has reached the recipient's device.

This is not a read receipt. The report only confirms that the message was delivered to the phone, not that the person opened or viewed it. If you need confirmation of reading, no such feature exists for MMS on Coloros.

To enable or disable this option, open Messages-AppMenuSettingsMore settingsFetch MMS delivery reports.

From there you can turn the report On or Off separately for SIM1 and SIM2 if your device has two active SIM cards. This is useful if you use one number for personal messages and another for work, since delivery tracking can differ between the two.

Keep in mind that delivery reports depend on your carrier and the recipient's carrier supporting this feature. If the recipient's phone is off or has no signal, the report may be delayed or never arrive, even though the MMS was technically sent.

Frequently asked questions

This usually means the recipient's carrier does not support delivery reports, or their phone was offline when the MMS was sent. Check that Fetch MMS delivery reports is enabled under Messages-AppMenuSettingsMore settings and confirm the correct SIM is toggled on.
