Enable or Disable Personal Hotspot auf Oppo
When other devices cannot connect to your Oppo phone, the Personal hotspot toggle is usually the first thing to check. This feature turns your phone into a small Wi-Fi router, letting laptops, tablets, or other phones use your mobile data connection.
On Coloros, hotspot control sits inside the connectivity settings, separate from the regular Wi-Fi menu. If mobile data itself is disabled, the hotspot cannot broadcast internet access even when turned on.
Turn Personal hotspot on or off
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connection & sharing ➔ Tap on Personal hotspot ➔ Enable or disable Personal hotspot. Toggling this switch instantly starts or stops the Wi-Fi broadcast, without needing a restart.
If devices still cannot join after enabling the hotspot, check that mobile data is active and that no data limit or password mismatch is blocking new connections. A hidden network name or a very short auto-off timer can also cause devices to disconnect shortly after joining.
Use this toggle whenever you need temporary internet access for other devices. For a permanent shared connection, a physical router setup is more reliable and does not drain your phone's battery as quickly.
