Mute a Single Conversation auf Oppo
If one contact sends a steady stream of texts, only that thread needs to go quiet. Coloros lets you control notifications for each SMS conversation separately, so muting one thread has no effect on the rest of your Messages app.
To mute a conversation, use this Menu path:
Open the Messages-App ➔ Open Conversation you want ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Mute notifications / Allow notifications
Once muted, new messages from that thread no longer trigger a banner, sound, or vibration. The conversation still shows up in your inbox, and unread badges still count the messages, only the alert is suppressed.
Muting is not the same as blocking. The contact can still reach you, and you can still reply normally. If you want to stop the contact entirely, block them instead through their contact card.
To reverse the mute, open the same conversation and menu again. The option switches to Allow notifications, which restores the normal alert behavior for that thread.
