Turn Next-word Suggestions On or Off auf Oppo
Next-word suggestions is a Gboard feature that predicts the word likely to follow what you just typed. It relies on your typing history and common word patterns, so the more you type, the more it adapts to your habits.
Tapping the space bar accepts the suggested word without touching the suggestion bar. This speeds up typing, but it can also insert the wrong word if you tap the space bar out of habit right after a suggestion appears.
The setting sits inside your keyboard app, not in the general Oppo settings. To reach it, follow this path:
Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Keyboard & input method ➔ Gboard ➔ Text correction ➔ Next-word suggestions
From there, switch the toggle on or off depending on what you need.
Turn it off if autocorrect keeps swapping in unwanted words, if you type in mixed languages where predictions get confused, or if you prefer full control over every word you enter. Turning it on again is useful for fast messaging in a single language, where predictions usually match what you meant to type.
