Turn Off Notifications for a Single App auf Oppo
Android groups notification permissions by app, not globally. On a ColorOS phone, each installed app has its own switch for whether it may show alerts, badges, or lock screen previews at all.
This matters when a single app, for example a shopping or news app, sends too many alerts while messaging and calendar apps still need to get through. Disabling notifications entirely in the quick panel would silence everything, which is rarely what you want.
To change this for one app, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Tap on Manage notifications. From there, use the Allow notifications toggle to enable or disable alerts for that app only.
If notifications still dont appear after enabling this toggle, check whether the app is restricted by battery optimization or Do Not Disturb exceptions. Those settings can override the per-app notification switch even when it is turned on.
When to use this instead of Do Not Disturb
Do Not Disturb mode is temporary and applies to all apps at once. Per-app notification control is permanent and selective, which makes it the better option for apps you want silenced long-term rather than just during certain hours.
