Turn On-body Detection On or Off auf Oppo
On-body detection belongs to the Smart Lock group inside Coloros. It keeps your Oppo phone unlocked as soon as the device registers continuous motion, for example while it sits in your pocket or bag.
The feature relies purely on the accelerometer. It cannot tell who is actually carrying the phone, so a stranger who picks up a still-moving device inherits the unlocked state until it stops moving or gets set down long enough to lock again.
To enable or disable the function: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security ➔ Tap on Smart lock ➔ Tap on On-body detection ➔ Enable or disable On-body detection ➔ Tap on Continue.
Turning it off means the phone locks again every time the screen goes dark, no matter whether you are still holding it. That costs a bit of convenience but closes the gap for anyone who wants the lock screen to always require authentication.
Keep On-body detection on if you mainly want fewer unlock prompts during a short walk or workout and are not worried about someone grabbing the device while it is unlocked. Pair it with a short screen-timeout if you want a middle ground between comfort and security.
