Turn Personalized Ads On or Off auf Oppo
Oppo phones running ColorOS assign every device a unique Advertising ID. Apps and ad networks read this ID to link your installs, taps and browsing behavior into a profile, which is why the same product tends to reappear across different apps.
This profile is managed under the Privacy settings, not inside individual apps. Turning off personalization does not remove ads themselves, it only stops networks from targeting you based on stored behavior data.
To disable it, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Privacy ➔ Tap on Advanced ➔ Tap on Ads ➔ Enable or disable Opt out of Ads Personalization ➔ Tap on OK.
If you prefer a clean slate instead of a full opt-out, resetting the Advertising ID in the same menu wipes the existing profile while ads stay personalized going forward under a new ID. Choose reset when you just switched usage habits and want current tracking data gone; choose opt-out when you want no personalization at all.
Side effect of opting out: ads become more generic and less relevant, but their number on your device usually stays the same. Some apps with their own ad SDKs may ignore this system-level setting.
