Allow or Deny Picture-in-Picture Per App auf Oppo
Picture-in-picture lets a video keep playing in a small movable window while you use another app on your Oppo phone. ColorOS treats this as a permission that each app requests separately, so YouTube might support it while a banking or chat app does not offer the window at all.
The toggle sits in the app permission list, not in the video player itself. If the floating window never appears, the app either lacks the permission or does not support the feature technically, and no toggle will fix that second case.
To check or change the setting, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on App management ➔ Tap on App list ➔ Choose an App ➔ Tap on Picture-in-picture ➔ Enable or disable Picture-in-picture.
Turning this permission off stops the app from opening a floating window, which is useful if a video keeps popping up unwanted while you multitask. Turning it on lets the app request the window whenever you leave it during video playback.
If the window still does not show up after enabling the permission, check whether battery optimization or background app restrictions are blocking the app, since those settings can override this permission for background tasks.
