Pin a Conversation to the Top auf Oppo
The default sorting rule in the Messages app on Oppo phones places whichever conversation received the most recent SMS at the top of the list. That works fine most of the time, but it means an important thread with a family member or a service contact can slide down as soon as someone else sends you a text.
Pinning locks a specific conversation in place regardless of new incoming or outgoing messages. It does not stop notifications, mute the thread, or change any privacy setting - it only changes the visual order inside the app.
To pin a conversation, open Messages ➔ press and hold the conversation ➔ tap Pin conversation. The thread jumps to the top and a small pin icon usually shows next to it. Unpinning follows the same steps and the menu shows Unpin conversation instead.
You can pin more than one conversation at a time. When several are pinned, they group together above the unpinned ones, still sorted by recent activity among themselves. This works the same way across ColorOS versions, so there is no need to check your update status before using it.
