Turn Display Animations On or Off auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running ColorOS, every app launch, menu opening, or app switch triggers a short animation showing the window sliding, fading, or scaling into place. This is handled by the system's animation engine, which is meant to make transitions feel smooth. On lower-end hardware or when several apps run in the background, these animations can make the interface feel sluggish instead of fast.
Disabling the animation effects removes that visual delay. Windows and menus appear and close immediately, which can noticeably improve how responsive the phone feels during everyday navigation.
To switch this behavior off, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Enable or disable Remove animations. Toggling this option skips the transition effects system-wide, across apps and menus.
This setting only affects the visual transition speed, not the actual performance of apps. If an app itself loads slowly, removing animations will not fix that; check background app management or storage space instead. If you prefer keeping the visual effects but want faster app loading, look at background process settings rather than this toggle.
