Remove a Saved Fingerprint auf Oppo
Every fingerprint stored on your Oppo phone stays permanently linked to the lock screen and to apps that rely on biometric confirmation, such as banking or payment tools.
This becomes a problem when a print was added for testing, belongs to someone who no longer needs access, or you simply want to reduce the number of active biometric entries for privacy reasons. ColorOS manages fingerprints in a dedicated security area, separate from Face Unlock and screen lock settings, so deleting one print never affects the others.
To remove a saved fingerprint, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Password & biometrics ➔ Tap on Fingerprint ➔ Tap on Remove ➔ Tap on Delete. You will usually need to confirm your device PIN or pattern before the fingerprint list opens, since biometric data is treated as sensitive.
Once deleted, that specific fingerprint can no longer unlock the phone or approve payments, but any other registered prints and Face Unlock keep working normally. If you only want to pause fingerprint unlock temporarily without deleting anything, disabling it at the lock screen level is the better option instead of removing the print itself.
