Remove a Contact from a Group auf Oppo
Contact groups on Oppo phones running Coloros pull their member list straight from the Contacts app, not from a separate group manager. When someone leaves a project or team, the group still shows that person until the entry is manually removed from that specific group.
Two paths lead to the same result. Opening the contact itself and unassigning the group works fine for a single person. The group edit mode, reached through the group menu, is built for removing several members at once, since it lets you tick multiple entries before confirming.
To use the faster method, go to Tap on Contacts ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Choose a Group ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Remove contacts ➔ Tap on Remove. Select every member you want out, then confirm.
Removing someone from a group never deletes the contact itself or its number. It only changes the group assignment, so the person stays reachable in your full contact list and in Calls & Messages.
If you only need to drop one member and already have their profile open, editing that contact directly is quicker than navigating into the group menu.
