Rename a Contact Group auf Oppo
Contact groups on Oppo phones keep the name you gave them when you created the group. Coloros does not rename or merge groups automatically, so an outdated label (like an old project name or a misspelled team) stays visible until you edit it yourself.
This matters because group names show up everywhere you use them: when you send a group message, share contacts, or filter your address book. A confusing label makes it harder to pick the right group quickly.
How to rename a contact group on Oppo
Open the Contacts app and tap on Tap on Contacts. From there, open Open the Menu and select Choose a Group from the list. Inside the group, open the menu again with Open the Menu and tap on Tap on Rename label. Enter the new name and confirm with Enter a Nameand tap OK.
The new name applies immediately across the Contacts app, group messages, and sharing dialogs. No restart is needed.
If you cannot find the rename option, check that you actually opened a group and not a single contact. Renaming only works from inside the group menu, not from an individual contact card.
