Rename a Paired Bluetooth Device auf Oppo
Every Bluetooth accessory sends its own broadcast name during pairing, and ColorOS simply displays whatever the manufacturer set at the factory. That is why speakers, earbuds, or car kits often show cryptic model numbers instead of something you would recognize. Renaming the entry in your phone's Bluetooth list fixes this locally without touching the accessory itself.
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Bluetooth ➔ Select a Paired device ➔ Tap on Device name ➔ Enter a Name and tap on Save. The new label appears immediately in your paired devices list and in any future connection notifications.
The rename only changes how your Oppo phone displays that connection. If the same accessory is also paired with another phone or tablet, it will still show its original broadcast name there, since the change is not written back to the accessory's firmware.
If the device keeps reverting to its old name after a restart, or the field will not save, the accessory itself may be resetting its Bluetooth profile. In that case, unpair and re-pair the device before renaming it again.
