Reset App Preferences auf Oppo
Oppo groups app preference resets under the same menu as the factory reset, which is why many users trigger a full wipe when they only wanted to clear a few misbehaving apps.
Resetting app preferences removes every app you installed after setup, along with its cache, saved logins, and local data. Pre-installed apps such as Gallery, Camera, or Calendar keep their data, since Coloros treats them as part of the system rather than as downloaded software.
To run it, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Back up and reset ➔ Erase all data (factory reset). On that screen, choose Erase downloaded apps and their data instead of the full wipe option, then confirm with Erase data.
This is useful when several apps show permission conflicts, when app caches are filling up storage, or before handing over the phone while keeping personal photos and system settings intact. It is not a substitute for a factory reset if the goal is to remove personal files, accounts, or wipe the device completely.
After the reset, every removed app needs to be reinstalled from the store, and you will have to sign in and set it up again from scratch.
