Reset Camera Settings to Default auf Oppo
When photos or videos on an Oppo phone suddenly look wrong, the cause is usually a stack of small changes made inside the camera app over time. Resolution, grid overlay, watermark, timer or video quality settings accumulate and interact in ways that are hard to trace back manually.
ColorOS handles this with a dedicated reset function inside the camera app itself, separate from the general system settings reset. It reverts every camera-related option to the factory state in one step, without touching photos, videos or other app settings.
To use it, open Camera, then tap Settings, select Restore to defaults and confirm with Restore to defaults again.
This is the right fix when the camera behaves inconsistently, produces unexpected results, or when you simply lost track of which options were changed. If only one specific setting is wrong, for example the flash mode or grid lines, adjusting that single option directly is faster and avoids losing every other custom preference.
Keep in mind that the reset clears all camera preferences at once, including saved modes, filters and manual exposure adjustments. There is no undo, so custom setups need to be reconfigured afterward if you want them back.
