Oppo: Schedule Eye Comfort Automatically

Switching Eye comfort on and off by hand every evening is easy to forget, and a missed night leaves blue light exposure disrupting your sleep. Oppo also lets the blue light filter run on a fixed schedule, but if the start and end times do not match your actual routine, the warm tint shows up too early or disappears before bedtime. Getting the schedule right on Coloros removes the need for daily toggling.

Schedule Eye Comfort (Blue Light Filter) auf Oppo

Eye comfort on Oppo phones reduces blue light output by shifting the display toward a warmer color tone. It can run in two modes: a manual toggle you switch yourself, or a schedule that turns the filter on and off at fixed times without any input from you.

Problems usually show up when the schedule was left at a default time range that does not match your actual sleep pattern, or when the filter was toggled on manually and now overrides the schedule unexpectedly. In both cases the tint appears at the wrong moment, which is distracting during evening work or leaves the screen too warm in the morning.

Setting the schedule

Open SettingsDisplay & brightnessEye comfort. Turn on the Schedule option, then set your preferred Start time and End time. The filter now activates and deactivates automatically at those times, independent of whether you open the toggle manually elsewhere.

A schedule works best if your sleep hours are fairly consistent. If your bedtime shifts often, a manual toggle from the quick settings panel gives you more control on a night-by-night basis.

Keep in mind that Eye comfort shifts colors noticeably. Turn it off temporarily when doing color-sensitive work like photo editing, even if a schedule is active.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The warm tint changes how colors and skin tones look on screen, so turn off Eye comfort manually before editing photos or videos, even if a schedule would normally switch it on.
