Turn Screencast On or Off auf Oppo
Screencast on Oppo phones uses your local Wi-Fi network to stream the phone screen to a TV, monitor, or another Android device. The setting lives under Settings ➔ Connection & sharing ➔ Screencast, and it stays off by default to save battery and avoid unwanted connections from other people on the same network.
Open Settings, tap Connection & sharing, then tap Screencast. A toggle lets you Enable or disable Screencast directly on that screen. Once it is switched on, the phone scans the local network and lists every compatible receiver under Choose an Available device.
If your TV or streaming box is missing from that list, it usually means the device is not on the same Wi-Fi network, has its own casting option turned off, or is in sleep mode. Restarting the receiver and confirming both devices are connected to one network fixes most of these cases.
Screencast is built for general screen mirroring, not for continuous media playback. For smoother video streaming, a manufacturer casting app or a dedicated streaming stick usually performs better, since Screencast can drop frames on a weak or crowded Wi-Fi connection.
