Set Up and Start Screen Recorder auf Oppo
Oppo phones running ColorOS include a built-in screen recorder, but its recording options live outside the Quick settings panel where you actually start a capture.
That split causes most of the confusion: you can tap the Screen recording tile and start recording immediately with default settings, but audio source and video resolution stay untouched unless you configure them first in the main settings.
Where to find the recording options
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Convenience tools ➔ Tap on Screen recording. Here you choose whether the recording captures system sound, microphone sound, both, or neither, and you set the video resolution for the output file.
Set the desired Options before you close this screen, since changes only apply to recordings started afterward.
Starting the recording
Swipe with two fingers to open Quick settings, then Tap on Screen recording to begin capturing. A short countdown appears before recording starts, giving you time to switch to the app or screen you want to show.
If your recordings still have no sound or the wrong audio source afterward, double-check that the microphone or system sound option was actually saved in the settings step above.
