Turn Screenshot Sound On or Off auf Oppo
The screenshot sound on Oppo phones is controlled by a separate audio toggle, not by the screenshot gesture itself. ColorOS treats it like keyboard clicks or charging tones: a small feedback sound that runs on its own layer, independent from ringtone volume.
That is why muting your phone does not always stop it. The switch sits inside a submenu called More sounds & haptics, which also holds dial pad tones and other system feedback sounds.
To disable or re-enable it, open Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ More sounds & haptics ➔ Enable or disable Screenshot sound.
Turning the toggle off silences only the screenshot sound. Other system sounds, notification tones, and haptic feedback stay untouched, so you do not lose any other audio cues by mistake.
If you want to mute all incidental sounds at once, silent mode or a scheduled Focus profile is the faster route, but both also mute calls and notifications, which this single toggle does not.
