Select Network Manually auf Oppo
Your Oppo phone normally connects to a network automatically, weighing your home carrier against raw signal strength. Near borders or while traveling abroad, this logic can lock you onto a weak or foreign network instead of a stronger one nearby. Switching to manual selection puts you in control of which carrier your phone uses.
Where to find manual network selection
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on SIM card & mobile data. If your phone has two SIM slots, pick the SIM you want to configure with Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM). Then tap Tap on Carrier to reach the network options.
Turn off automatic search with Disable Auto select by tapping Tap on Off. Your phone scans nearby networks and lists every carrier it can reach, even ones outside your usual plan. Tap Select an Available network and choose the carrier you want to connect to.
Manual selection helps when you know a specific network gives better coverage in your current location, but the choice stays fixed until you switch back to automatic mode. If the selected network becomes unavailable, you need to open this menu again and pick another one, since the phone will not fall back on its own.
