Set Date and Time Automatically auf Oppo
Oppo phones running ColorOS normally sync their date and time from the mobile network as soon as they connect to a carrier signal. This keeps clocks, calendar entries and message timestamps accurate without any manual input.
When automatic sync breaks - after a SIM swap, a trip abroad, or a weak network connection - the phone falls back to whatever date and time was last set manually. This shows up as wrong timestamps in messages, alarms firing at the wrong hour, or calendar events landing on the wrong day.
You control this behavior under Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Date & time ➔ Set automatically. Turning the toggle on tells ColorOS to trust the network time signal. Turning it off lets you enter a specific date, time and timezone by hand.
Disable automatic sync only if you need a fixed time for testing, your carrier sends an incorrect time signal, or you are somewhere without a reliable network time source. In every other case, keeping the toggle enabled avoids clock drift and keeps time-sensitive apps like banking or calendar tools working correctly.
