Set Up Private Safe auf Oppo
The Private Safe on Coloros creates a separate storage area that is not visible in the regular gallery or file manager once files are moved into it. Anything placed there is locked behind its own privacy password, independent of your normal screen lock. This matters because your device passcode already unlocks everything else on the phone, so it does not protect individual photos, videos, or documents from anyone who has that code.
To activate it, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Privacy ➔ Tap on Private Safe. The first time you open this menu, Coloros asks you to create the dedicated privacy password that will guard the safe from that point on.
Once set up, you can move files into the safe from your gallery or file manager using the share or move option, and they disappear from their original location. This is useful for IDs, screenshots of sensitive information, or private photos you do not want visible to anyone borrowing your phone.
If you only want to hide app icons or notifications rather than actual files, Private Safe is not the right tool. Look at app lock or notification privacy settings instead, since those control visibility, not file storage.
