Turn On or Off Video Subtitles auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running ColorOS, subtitle tracks inside a video file are not shown automatically. The caption function sits inside the accessibility tools rather than the video player itself, which is why it is easy to miss.
To turn captions on or off, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Caption preferences. From there you can toggle captions on or off directly.
Once enabled, ColorOS also lets you adjust how captions look. Inside the same Caption preferences menu, use Set other Options to change text size, font style, background color, and text color for better readability.
This setting applies system-wide to apps that support system captions, not just a single video app. If a specific streaming app still does not show subtitles after enabling this option, check that app's own playback settings, since some apps manage subtitle tracks independently from the system accessibility feature.
If your video file has no embedded subtitle track at all, turning on this option will not add captions. The setting only displays subtitles that already exist in the file or stream.
