Set Camera Timer for Photos and Videos auf Oppo
Oppo's Camera app on ColorOS hides the self-timer inside a menu instead of showing it on the main viewfinder, so many users never notice it exists. Without it, group photos usually end up with one person out of frame or blurry, because whoever holds the phone has to press the shutter and then rush into position.
The timer works the same way across photo, video and most media modes: it delays the shutter release for a fixed number of seconds after you tap the capture button. That gives everyone in frame enough time to get ready before the picture or clip is taken.
To turn it on, open Open the Camera-App ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Timer ➔ Tap again to adjust the duration. ColorOS offers two delay options, 3 or 10 seconds, depending on how far you need to walk into the shot.
The timer usually resets after each shot, so you may need to repeat the steps before every group photo. If you shoot video instead of stills, the same delay applies before recording starts, not during the clip itself.
