Power Off the Oppo Phone auf Oppo
Oppo phones running ColorOS handle shutdown differently from stock Android. Instead of a tap-to-confirm Power off switch, the screen shows a slider that has to be pulled down, not just tapped.
This gesture is part of the ColorOS system interface, which replaces several standard Android dialogs with its own visual style. Tapping the slider without dragging simply closes the shutdown menu, and many users assume the button is broken.
Correct steps to power off
Press and hold the Power button ➔ Drag the Button downwards ➔ Release the Button to power off.
Hold the physical Power button for about a second until the shutdown screen appears. Place your finger on the slider and drag it toward the bottom of the screen before letting go. The phone switches off once the slider reaches the end of its track.
If the display is frozen and this menu never shows up, a slide gesture will not help. In that case, hold the Power button for several seconds until the screen goes black to force a restart instead of a normal shutdown.
