Turn Fingerprint Animation Sound On or Off auf Oppo
The fingerprint animation sound is a short audio confirmation that plays whenever ColorOS recognizes your fingerprint and unlocks the phone. It works independently from your ringtone or media volume and sits inside the general sound settings.
Some people rely on this cue to know the sensor registered a successful scan without looking at the screen. Others find it unnecessary once they trust the unlock speed, especially in libraries, offices, or at night next to a partner.
To change it, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Tap on More sounds & haptics ➔ Enable or disable Fingerprint animation sound. The toggle applies system-wide, so it also affects fingerprint confirmations inside apps that use the built-in sensor for authentication, not just the lock screen.
Turning the sound off does not disable haptic feedback or the fingerprint sensor itself. If you still feel a vibration after unlocking, that comes from a separate haptics setting and needs to be adjusted on its own.
If your phone stays silent on unlock even with the toggle enabled, check whether the media volume or Do Not Disturb mode is muting system sounds, since the fingerprint sound uses that same audio channel.
