Unpair a Bluetooth Device auf Oppo
A paired Bluetooth device stays remembered because ColorOS keeps its pairing key stored even after the device is switched off. That is convenient for headphones or a speaker you use daily, but it also means an Oppo phone keeps trying to reconnect to that device whenever it is nearby.
If a specific speaker, headset, or car system is no longer needed, unpairing removes the stored key and stops those automatic reconnect attempts. This is different from simply turning Bluetooth off, which only disables the radio temporarily instead of deleting the connection.
To remove a paired device, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Bluetooth ➔ Select a Paired device ➔ Tap on Unpair. The device disappears from the paired list right away, and any future connection needs a full pairing process again, including discovery and confirmation.
Unpairing also helps with troubleshooting. If audio keeps cutting out or a device connects with a delay, removing the pairing and setting it up again often clears a corrupted connection profile without a full phone restart.
