Oppo: Turn Off Vibration on Touch Feedback

If your Oppo phone buzzes every time you tap the navigation bar, open a menu, or dial a number, the touch feedback vibration is switched on. This system-wide haptic response can feel excessive on Coloros, especially when it triggers during simple actions like scrolling through settings or answering calls. You can turn it off without changing your ringtone or notification vibration settings.

Turn Vibrate on Touch On or Off auf Oppo

Coloros includes a haptic feedback layer that vibrates whenever you interact with system elements: opening the app drawer, tapping the navigation bar, dragging a slider in Settings, or dialing a number in the Phone app. This feedback is separate from ringtone vibration or notification alerts, and it keeps running regardless of Do Not Disturb or Focus mode.

On some Oppo devices this feedback triggers so often that even scrolling through a list produces short buzzes. Besides feeling disruptive in quiet environments, constant haptic pulses draw a small amount of extra battery over the day.

To turn it off, go to Tap on SettingsTap on Sound & vibrationTap on More sounds & hapticsEnable or disable Vibrate on touch. Switching this off stops vibration only for touch interactions; ringtone, alarm, and notification vibration settings stay untouched.

If you only want less vibration during calls or in a specific app, check that app's own notification settings instead. This system toggle controls general touch feedback, not per-app vibration behavior.

Frequently asked questions

No. It only controls the haptic feedback triggered by tapping menus, buttons, and the navigation bar. Notification and ringtone vibration are managed separately under Sound & vibration.
