Volume Key Shortcut for Accessibility Features auf Oppo
The volume key shortcut on Oppo phones with Coloros is part of the accessibility system, which manages features built for users who need faster or alternative ways to control the phone. Once a feature is linked to the shortcut, holding volume down and volume up together for about 3 seconds toggles it on or off, without opening any app or menu.
This only works if the shortcut has been enabled and assigned first. If nothing happens when you hold the keys, the shortcut is either turned off or no function has been selected yet.
To set it up, go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Accessibility shortcut ➔ Enable or Disable Accessibility shortcut. From there you choose which accessibility function the volume keys should control.
Disable the shortcut again if you trigger it by accident, for example while adjusting media volume in a case or pocket. Keep in mind that only one function can be assigned to the shortcut at a time, so switching between multiple accessibility features still requires going back into settings.
