Connect to Wi-Fi via WPS auf Oppo
WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) lets your Oppo phone join a wireless network without typing the password. Instead, the router and phone exchange a short authentication signal triggered by a physical button press.
This works because most home routers keep WPS active in the background, even if nobody set it up manually. Once your phone requests a WPS handshake, the router accepts any device that presses its WPS button within the following seconds.
How to activate WPS mode on your Oppo phone
Open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ Advanced settings ➔ WPS connection ➔ WPS connection. Your phone now searches for a router broadcasting a WPS request.
Press the WPS button on the router within the next seconds. The connection usually completes automatically, without any password prompt.
WPS is not available on every router. Some ISP-provided models disable it by default for security reasons. If nothing happens after pressing the button, connect through the regular Wi-Fi network list and enter the password manually.
Public Wi-Fi networks, hotspots, and enterprise networks with certificate-based login never support WPS. Use it only for private routers with an accessible physical WPS button.
