Set a Monthly Mobile Data Limit
If your mobile data plan runs dry days before the billing cycle ends, you probably have no monthly limit configured on your Realme phone. Realme UI tracks consumption on its own, and that count can drift from what your carrier actually bills. Without a limit set, you only find out about overuse once your provider throttles speeds or adds extra charges.
Auto-Add New Apps to Home Screen

Turn On/Off Accessibility Menu Shortcut
If the floating accessibility button or the two-finger swipe-up gesture won't show up on your Realme phone, the Accessibility Menu shortcut is probably switched off. This shortcut controls quick access to the Assistant menu and other accessibility functions in an enlarged view. Toggling it the wrong way can leave you without any quick way to reach those settings.
Show or Hide the Status Bar Clock

Remove an Account
If you sign out of an account on your Realme phone but its messages, contacts, or files stay right where they were, you probably logged out instead of fully removing the account. Removing an account wipes its local copy of data from the phone, but leaves everything untouched in the cloud service itself. That distinction matters before you reset, sell, or hand over the device.
Show or Hide Lock Screen Notification Content
When someone can read your messages just by glancing at your locked phone, the lock screen notification setting is exposing too much content. Realme phones let you choose whether the sender and message text appear before you unlock, or whether only a generic alert shows up. Picking the wrong option means either missing important alerts at a glance or leaking private texts to anyone nearby.
Fix Audio Balance Between Left and Right Speaker/Earbud
If music, calls or videos sound louder on one side, a hearing difference or an earbud that sits slightly loose can turn normal stereo playback into an uneven mix. Realme UI includes a dedicated balance control that shifts output continuously between left and right, separate from the regular volume buttons. Without it, you are stuck compensating by tilting your head or favoring one earbud.
Turn On/Off Color Inversion

Add a New Account
If your email will not sync or WhatsApp keeps asking you to sign in again, the account might not be set up correctly at system level on your Realme phone. Turn Auto Brightness On or Off

Turn On/Off Dual Clock

Add Date & Time to Watermark
If your photos only carry the phone model watermark without any timestamp, the 'Date & time' option inside the watermark settings is still switched off. Once switched on, every new photo or video shows the exact capture date and time underneath the device watermark.
Show/Hide Language Switch Key
Switching between two keyboard languages on Realme usually means opening the keyboard settings every time, which slows down typing. Gboard has a dedicated language switch key for this, but it sits hidden until you turn it on, and it cannot appear together with the emoji key. If you type in more than one language daily, this toggle decides how fast switching actually feels.
Check for Google Play System Update Manually
On many Realme phones, Google Play system updates install quietly in the background without any real notification. If an update failed to apply, or you had to reset the Google Play services app, the version shown on your device might be out of date. Checking manually tells you whether your phone actually has the latest patch installed.
Smart Lock: Trusted Places, Devices and On-Body Detection
Smart Lock keeps your Realme phone unlocked automatically once it recognizes a trusted place, a paired device, or that you are carrying it. It removes the repeated PIN or pattern entry when you are already in a familiar, low-risk situation. The feature sits on top of your regular screen lock and only relaxes it under conditions you choose yourself.
Limit Personal Hotspot Connections
When several devices join your Realme personal hotspot at the same time, mobile data disappears fast and the connection gets noticeably slower for everyone. Realme UI lets you cap the number of devices allowed to connect, so guests or family devices cannot eat into your data plan unnoticed. Without a limit, any nearby device with the password can join until you run out of data.
Delete Face Data
If Face Unlock keeps popping up even though you no longer want facial recognition active on your Realme phone, the scanned face model is still stored in the security settings. Removing it turns off Face Unlock completely and clears the saved biometric data, but the deletion has to be confirmed with your Pattern, PIN or Password. Without one of those backup unlock methods set up, the face data cannot be deleted at all.
