Realme: Clone Apps with App Cloner

Need two WhatsApp or Facebook accounts on one phone but the app only lets you log in once? On dual-SIM Realme phones this becomes a real problem when you want to keep a work and a private account separate without switching devices. Realme UI includes a built-in cloning function that solves exactly this, running a second, fully independent copy of the app.

Clone Apps with App Cloner auf Realme

Realme UI includes a feature called App Cloner that creates a second, independent instance of supported apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Messenger. The cloned app gets its own storage and login session, so you can sign in with a different account or number without logging out of the original app.

This is mainly useful on dual-SIM devices, where you want one messaging account tied to each SIM. It also helps if you use one account for work and another for personal contacts, without needing a second physical device.

To create a clone, open Tap on SettingsTap on App managementTap on App clonerChoose an AppEnable or disable Create app clone. Only apps that support cloning appear in this list; not every installed app is eligible.

Once enabled, a second app icon appears on your home screen, usually marked with a small clone badge. Set it up like a new install and log in with the second account.

If you only need to switch between accounts occasionally rather than run both at once, logging in and out of the same app is often simpler than maintaining a clone. Cloned apps also use separate storage, so updates, notifications and cache are managed independently for each copy.
