Turn On/Off Power Saving Mode auf Realme
Power saving mode on Realme phones limits background activity to reduce battery drain. Once active, the system restricts app services, delays data synchronization, and can reduce CPU performance for non-essential tasks. This is useful when you are away from a charger for a long stretch, but it can also cause delayed messages, paused downloads, or apps that feel sluggish until you switch it off.
Where to find the toggle
The setting sits in the battery menu. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Battery ➔ Enable or disable Power saving mode. From there you can switch it on immediately or turn it off once your battery situation improves.
When to use it, and when not to
Power saving mode makes sense during travel, long meetings, or whenever a charger is not nearby. It is less useful if you rely on real-time notifications from messaging or navigation apps, since background sync gets throttled first. If notifications lag even when the battery is not low, check whether the mode was left on by accident.
You can also reach the toggle through the quick settings panel in the status bar, which is faster once you know the feature is there.
